Marshall Reports Over $75,000 Raised In First Period

Raises 50% more than closest Republican

Reno, NV – State Treasurer Kate Marshall today released her campaign finance report for the first period of the Special Election in CD-2.  Marshall reported raising over $75,000 for the period from 156 donors.

With over 80 percent of funds raised coming from within Nevada, Marshall is showing strong, early support in her campaign to become the new Congresswoman from the 2nd Congressional District. Her fundraising total eclipses her closest Republican opponent by almost 50%.

"The sheer magnitude of the grassroots support I’ve received is a testament to how strongly Nevadans want someone in Congress who will prioritize them, work to create Nevada jobs and make government perform efficiently," Marshall said. "That's what I’ve done as State Treasurer and that’s what I’ll do in Congress."
