Age 10 Anna Marshall is an avid skier and young scholar. She is a member of the Mount Rose Falcon Ski Club and recently was accepted in to the Tahoe League, competing with young skiers throughout the Tahoe Basin. She also has a passion for studying science.
Age 7 Molly Marshall loves to play the piano and swim. Her favorite stroke is the butterfly because, as she says “you get to put your arms all the way back and all the way forward and pretend to be a dolphin at the same time.”
John Marshall is an attorney and avid cyclist. He is a member of the Reno Wheelman Cycling Club, leaving for grueling early morning rides before practicing law in the afternoons and evenings.
When Kate Marshall isn’t on the road campaigning or working as a private practice attorney in her own law firm, she spends her time relaxing with her husband and spending time with her daughters. She also loves to knit Fair Isle sweaters and winter hats which have become her family’s favorite Christmas and birthday gifts.

A personal bankruptcy in 1988 and an employment history that raises some questions about the depth of his financial experience suggest that DeStefano is not the right person to serve as treasurer, Marshall said.
Marshall, who worked for the U.S. Justice Department and created the antitrust office for the Nevada attorney general's office, also points to her own employment record as a significant qualification for the job of treasurer.
